Not a rumor. Not a tradition. Not a committee vote. The Sabbath was made at Creation, blessed, sanctified, and written in God’s law with a word that exposes forgetful religion: REMEMBER.
The day before Sunday is Saturday. In the King James Bible it is the seventh day Sabbath—God’s memorial of Creation. If you can count to seven, you can obey.
“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God…”
— Exodus 20:8–11 (KJV)
“Blessed are they that do his commandments” — Revelation 22:14 (KJV)
“Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” — Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)
Not bedtime stories. Not soft soap. These are nuggets for this Present Time—truth for lamps that must endure the midnight cry repeated which is now a loud cry (Revelation 18:4).
MINISTRY STATEMENTDayBeforeSunday.com exists to call honest hearts back to the God of Creation, the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. We are not here to sell a brand, polish traditions, or entertain itching ears—we are here to place oil in the lamps of the wise virgins, while the loud cry is already echoing through the earth.
These Pioneer books are not museum pieces. They are battle-provisions—Scripture-saturated, conscience-awakening, Christ-exalting truth for this Present Time. They teach you how to prove all things, how to stand when the crowd bows, and how to obey when obedience costs. We believe the Lord raised up a people to publish “present truth,” to lift high the seventh-day Sabbath as God’s memorial of Creation, and to warn the world with heaven’s last message.
If your soul is thirsty, come drink. If your lamp is dim, come get oil. If your faith is tired, come be strengthened. Read with your Bible open. Test every line by the Word of God. And let the truth do what it was sent to do: convert the heart, expose error, and prepare a people to meet the Lord.
“Those who have most to say against the testimonies are generally those who have not read them…” (Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 45)
(Note: The full paragraph is longer—this is a short excerpt; read the full passage in the book itself.)
This is the trumpet-blast that teaches you how to think, how to prove, and how to stand. If your lamp is flickering, start here.
“You must begin to print a little paper… Let it be small at first…” (Early Writings, p. 125)
(This is an excerpt; the paragraph continues in the book—read it in full inside the publication.)
The Second Angel’s thunder made personal: “Come out of her, my people.” This is not polite religion—this is a rescue alarm.
Charles Fitch (1804–1844) was a Millerite Advent preacher and author of “Come Out of Her, My People.” He died October 14, 1844, eight days before October 22. Historical sources identify seven children with his wife Zerviah Roath.
“We all went under the tree… when Brethren Fitch and Stockman…” (Early Writings, p. 17)
(Excerpt only; read the full paragraph in the publication.)
If you want to understand why the world is trembling, read the conflict line by line. This book names the battle and strips the mask off deception.
Sanctification that is not a slogan. A book that cuts through counterfeits and drives the heart to real obedience.
These volumes are power-lines: doctrine, warning, history, prophecy—oil for lamps and steel for spines.
Lamps with no oil go out. These testimonies are oil—reproof, instruction, warning, and straight testimony for the last days.
Pioneers’ voices are to be heard – New Light is never to contradict the original light that God has given to us:
“When the power of God testifies as to what is truth, that truth is to stand forever as the truth. No after suppositions contrary to the light God has given are to be entertained. Men will arise with interpretations of Scripture which are to them truth, but which are not truth. The truth for this time God has given us as a foundation for our faith. He Himself has taught us what is truth.
One will arise, and still another, with new light, which contradicts the light that God has given under the demonstration of His Holy Spirit. A few are still alive who passed through the experience gained in the establishment of this truth. God has graciously spared their lives to repeat, and repeat till the close of their lives, the experience through which they passed even as did John the apostle till the very close of his life.
And the standard bearers who have fallen in death are to speak through the reprinting of their writings. I am instructed that thus their voices are to be heard. They are to bear their testimony as to what constitutes the truth for this time.”
— Ellen White, Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 161.1; Letter 329, December 11, 1905, p. 17–18
“We are to repeat the words of the pioneers in our work, who knew what it cost to search for the truth as for hidden treasure.... The word given me is, let that which these men have written in the past be reproduced.”
— Ellen White, Review & Herald, May 25, 1905
Let the Pioneers Speak – reprint their articles – A protest against removing the landmarks of our faith:
“When men come in who would move one pin or pillar from the foundation which God has established by His Holy Spirit, let the aged men who were pioneers in our work speak plainly, and let those who are dead speak also, by the reprinting of their articles in our periodicals.
Gather up the rays of divine light that God has given as He has led His people on step by step in the way of truth. This truth will stand the test of time and trial.”
— Ellen White, Manuscript 62, 1905, 6 (“A Warning against False Theories,” May 24, 1905); 1MR, p. 55.1

“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement.”
